How you pay
The Mac App Store takes the payment, on either plan. The figures above are the US prices; before you buy, the store shows you the price for your own country, in that country's currency and, where the law requires it, with tax included. That figure is the one you are charged.
A subscription renews until you cancel it, and cancelling happens in the App Store rather than inside PDF Parcel.
There is no PDF Parcel account and nothing to sign up for. The Apple Account you already use for the store is the only one involved.
What changes between free and paid
One thing changes, which is why the table below has one row. It is worth being exact about which, because the limit is easy to mistake for a different one.
The limit counts documents in one merge. It is not a page count, and it is not a count of merges per day — you can merge as often as you like, every day, for nothing. Take a document out of the arrangement and its place is open again. A document over the limit is refused by name rather than dropped in silence: the app says which file it did not add, and the two you already have carry on. A workspace holds up to 2,000 pages, on either plan, and above 1,000 the app says so; a drop that would cross the ceiling is refused whole rather than trimmed. That ceiling is not what paying removes.

Where do I pay, and what will it cost in my country?

How long does a subscription run, and how do I stop it?
It renews until you cancel it — the monthly plan each month, the yearly plan each year. Cancelling happens in the App Store rather than inside PDF Parcel, because the store is what holds the subscription. The app has no button that could end it.
What happens when a subscription ends?
PDF Parcel stays on your Mac and keeps working. What comes back is the free tier's limit — two documents in one merge. No page tool, no keyboard shortcut and no export option is taken away, because none of them was ever the paid part; free is a tier rather than a countdown. The app reaches the store only when you buy or restore a purchase, never on its own, and in between it goes by the date your subscription was paid through — so a change in either direction, a renewal as much as an ending, shows up the next time you open the Pro window.
What happens to files I have already merged?
Nothing, and a subscription ending changes nothing about them either. An exported PDF is an ordinary file in the folder you chose; it opens in any PDF reader and PDF Parcel keeps no hold over it. The documents you merged from are untouched too — a source file is never modified, on any tier.
How do I get the paid version on a second Mac?
With Restore Purchase. On the second Mac, sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account that bought the subscription, open the Pro window and choose Restore Purchase; the subscription is recognised there and nothing is charged for it. The same button is what brings it back after a reinstall, or after a yearly subscription renews at a moment the app was not watching.
Is there a PDF Parcel account?
No, and there is nothing to sign up for. The Apple Account you already use for the store carries the subscription; PDF Parcel keeps none of its own, on any tier. What it does keep is the date your subscription is paid through, so it need not ask you to restore it at every launch — never your Apple Account, and nothing about your payment.
