Yes. Add JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF or GIF images, or plain text, RTF or HTML files, the same way you add a PDF. On your Mac, an image becomes a page with the picture on it, and a text, RTF or HTML file becomes pages whose text you can select. Any words inside a picture stay part of the picture. Each file you add counts as one document toward the free limit.

It doesn't edit text inside a page, fill or create forms, sign documents, or run OCR. It's a merging and organizing tool, not a document suite.

Yes. Move any page to any position and take out the ones you do not need — the export follows the order on screen. Nothing is written back to the file you started from.

Take a page out of the output and it is gone from the result — never from the file on your disk, which is opened read-only and never written to.

Both. Rotation is available from a page's context menu and from the full-size preview. Duplicates are labelled as copies in the result so the order stays readable.

Select the pages you want in the output and export them as their own PDF, in the order you arranged them.

Yes. ⌘Z undoes and ⇧⌘Z redoes, on every editing action. Nothing is written to disk until you export.

Yes, when you have the password. PDF Parcel offers an Unlock action and asks for the password; it does not bypass or remove document security.

Yes. Next to the destination the export panel offers Balanced and Small Size beside Original. The app re-encodes only the images inside your PDF, keeps text and drawings exactly as they are, and only replaces your export with the smaller version if it turned out smaller and passed validation. Scanned pages and photos compress most; documents that are mostly text usually do not.

Merging, arranging and exporting are processed locally on your Mac. The app contacts the App Store when you open the Pro window, buy a subscription, or restore one — and at no other time.

The limit counts documents, not pages. One 500-page PDF is free. Two documents of any size are free. Take one out and its place is open again. 2,000 pages in one workspace, and above 1,000 the app says so. Yes — the purchase and the subscription run through the Mac App Store. It shows the price for your own country and currency before you buy, it renews until you cancel it there, and Restore Purchase brings it back on another Mac. There is no PDF Parcel account and nothing to sign up for.
